Broth in Plaza 183 in the city of Cerritos is the shabu shabu place to be! Swish swish your way into this establishment and get on the waiting list because it can be quite the wait sometimes. Children under 40 inches eat free! Once you check-in, they ask you to scan the QR code for the menu where you will find the meats which can be ordered in multiple trays. There's an all you can eat area as well as sauces to enjoy, and you can order endless appetizers such as karage chicken and gyoza. Our server, Nicole aka Nicki was excellent, very helpful, and kind. She checked on us often and made sure our order of meats came out correctly. The overall staff are fast and efficient, dropped off the meat trays and picked up the empty trays in a timely manner. The miso and house broth are my favorite soup bases, very flavorful and compliment the meats very well. The goma and ponzu sauces are also great sauces that go well with all the meats. Be sure to sign up for the app and have your server scan the QR code so you can get the points. So if you want shabu-shabu in Cerritos, then choose Broth and choose your broth to enjoy your meal!

Came here for our first time, we were around the area and said let's go try it out. It was very busy but the staff were kind, it did take a bit to get checked on but more because it seemed very busy. I loved the fact we got our own pots that was a big plus. The food was very yummy, loved the sukiyaki broth. All the seafood and meats were good. It is loud inside and everyone's walking around but it's def a place I'd recommend and would go back too!

My First Visit - Worth the Wait! This was my first time trying Broth Shabu Shabu, and since there's usually a wait, my husband and I decided to go early one day for lunch. We're so glad we did--the food was absolutely delicious, and the overall experience was something special. The ambience was just right--perfect for a date night, a birthday celebration, or really any occasion. It felt both relaxed and elevated. The servers were kind, attentive, and made sure all our needs were met without hovering. When we first arrived, it was still pretty quiet, but within an hour and a half, the place was packed. It's clear this is a popular spot, and now I know why! While it seems family-friendly, I think it's especially great for couples or groups of friends who want to enjoy great food in a vibrant atmosphere. Fantastic job, Broth Shabu Shabu! We'll definitely be back.

I came to Broth Shabu-Shabu with dear friends one afternoon and what a treat! Everything was absolutely perfect. Here's why I'll be making a special trip out to Cerritos to come here again: ***The AYCE selection: I loved having the ability to order appetizers as well as choose my broth, meats and tons of seafood & veggies from the buffet. For appetizers we ordered Gyoza, Soy-Glazed Chicken Kaarage and Volcano Chicken Kaarage. All were good but next time I think I'll skip so I don't fill up on fried food, but I do LOVE having the variety. ***The Broth: You can choose between Original House, Miso, Spicy Miso, Tonkatsu and Sukiyaki. I chose Spicy Miso and it was AWESOME. It wasn't very spicy which is what I wanted, but so flavorful. ***The Meats and the seafood: They have Chicken which is Natural Chicken thigh and that worked for me since I don't like a lot of fatty meat. I wish they had chicken breast but I can definitely make due. And they had swai, which was a nice white flakey fish, fish balls, shrimp balls etc. My protein intake was definitely catered to. ***Veggies and sauce: They had tons of veggies and a very clean sauce bar where I doctored off some various sauces with garlic, green onions etc. We loved Broth Shabu-Shabu and we will definitely be back!

We love this place so much! Try and check in before so you don't have to wait too long because it's always busy. I recommend the beef toro!

Dani was an excellent server, she was so fast and sat me right down and made sure to come by at least about three times or more and refill my water without even having to ask and was just really attentive and very sweet. As always I always love this place it's my number one place to go to be anywhere in the world honestly if you price and amount of food you receive into consideration. Everything's excellent and the music is always chill I always satisfied and it was just as good if not better than all the other days I've been for the past decade

It had been a pleasure dining at Broth Shabu-Shabu. The selection of meat, fish and veggie has been great. Our server Ram Ram was very polite and helped us get everything we needed. Don't have a lighter he brought out a grill! Perfect lighter. It was amusing. The lighting of the restaurant was dim. Will come again.

Our absolute favorite spot for date nights and to treat friends (and I mean we come here OFTEN). Great quality meats and we appreciate how the entire menu is all you can eat. The service is always amazing, but Donny specifically brings the best energy and seems to know exactly when we need him. Couldn't recommend this place more - thank you Donny!!!

I came here with a couple of friends for a late lunch. We were seated pretty quickly even though there were a few parties ahead of us. After explaining how it worked (my first time here), ordering our soup bases (I got half spicy miso and half tonkatsu) my friends ordered some meat and we were off to the self serve section. For lunch, they had a limited selection, but still had a good selection of seafood, veggies and noodle varieties. I had more than enough to add to my soup after passing through and getting a little bit of almost everything. After dropping off my selection, I headed over to the sauce bar and made some dipping yumminess. The food was great - the soup base was good and although I wanted more spice, it had a rich flavor from the tonkatsu. The meat was fresh and all the veggies/noodles/seafood from the self serve bar was great. I didn't go back for seconds as I definitely had enough to eat. We also ordered some of the appetizers and they were pretty good as well. The restaurant is pretty big and while spacious, the noise inside was somewhat amplified due to the high ceilings. The music wasn't overly loud, but everyone talking at once added a lot of volume. Although chatting was still possible, it was hard to hear each other at times. Overall, I am already planning on bringing my mom/brothers to try it out the next time I'm in town.
